Description | Manuscript consisting of 392 Mexican recipes. Apparently began by a young woman from Puebla while attending the Colegio Teresiano located in Mixcoac, Mexico City. Many of the pages contain handwriting similar to that in a another recipe notebook kept by Angelina Llobet. This recipe book was compiled over many years, probably by several people. Favourite recipes are noted as "muy rico" or "muy bueno". Collection of loose paper items including manuscript recipes, postcards, food-related advertising ephemera and recipes from newspapers housed in separate envelope for safekeeping. This item contains an additional undated early booklet laid in containing 17 pages of manuscript recipes. |
