Description | Handwritten recipes in a grey cloth-covered record book which has brown leather corners. Book is dated Oct 1895, and was written prior to Mary A. Addoms becoming Mrs John M. Durand Jr. Their Denver, Colorado, wedding invitation is at the front of the book. In addition there is a separate index for more than 188 pages of her recipes. Recipes include: backed fish, chocolate pudding sauce, rice pudding, caramel sauce, salted almonds etc. Accompanied by a 26-page booklet containing a handwritten index to the recipes. |
